Neil Davidson has completed the re-build (to flyable standards) of the wings for the Murray Peden Tiger Moth. Our thanks to Neil for his splendid work and for delivering the wings to the museum. The next step is having flying wires made. They have been ordered from a firm in the U.K.

Senator Anne Cools was the museum's special guest at our August 15th event that commemorated the Sixty-fifth Anniversary of Ian Bazalgette's Victoria Cross Flight and saw the "Twinning" of the Town of Nanton and the Village of Senantes in France.

To commemorate the Sixty-fifth Anniversary of S/L Ian Bazalgette's Victoria Cross flight, the museum commissioned Len Krenzler to complete a depiction of S/L Bazalgette's aircraft over the church at Senantes, France. Limited edition prints are available through the museum.

As part of the museum's commemoration of the sixty-fifth anniversary of S/L Ian Bazalgette's Victoria Cross Flight, the second edition of Baz's biography has been published.

    Museum's New Mule Put To Work -
The museum's recently acquired towing tractor pushed the Lancaster out of the hangar for its first engines run-up of the year on a beautiful spring morning. The engines ran well and the mule performed admirably.

    Building Expansion Project -
Phases I and II of the museum's 14,400 square foot expansion on the north of the existing facility are now complete and fund raising for Phase III is underway.

    "Willie The Wolf From The West" T-Shirts Now Available -
Using Clarence Simonsen's artwork that was unveiled at last August's event, T-Shirts featuring Willie the Wolf from the West are now available through the museum. The cost, including GST, shipping, and handling is $25.00.

    RCAF Halifax LW170 -
The museum is involved in an exciting project that may ultimately see a restored Halifax Bomber on display together with the Lancaster in the Nanton Lancaster Air Museum.
